Active Ickworth: Social Cycle Rides
A chance to meet up with like minded individuals and enjoy a short cycle in the beautiful Ickworth Estate. Improve your health, fitness & wellbeing at a comfortable pace.

Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, take time to focus on your wellbeing, or meet other people, this short cycle is the perfect opportunity to socialize with others and explore the estate on wheels.
Happening every fortnight from the 21 May until the 16 July. The route is around 4.6km and will take around 30-45 min cycle time with short breaks to enjoy surroundings. This is a group led social bike ride and is not a tour of the estate.
This is an entry level cycle and will be adjusted to suit the needs of the group.
Pre-booking is recommended, however if there are some spaces available on the day, the team can book you on to a cycle. These spaces are available on a first come first served basis, to book on to a cycle on the day please chat to the team at the Welcome Point. Please note for this cycle ride it is required to use one of our bikes.

Children are welcome dependant on cycling ability.
- Meeting point
Attendees will need to meet at The Cycle Hub to be sorted out for a bike.
- What to bring and wear
Wear suitable clothing and footwear for cycling and weather conditions on the day.
- Accessibility
This is designed to be an entry level cycle. There will be a few breaks along the way to enjoy the views. The Group lead will manage cycle pace to suit all.
- Other
A limited number of trailers are available for children over 12 months and under 105cm, please contact the estate to add a trailer to your booking on 01284 735270. Please be aware the route is up to 4.6km and is a 45 min cycle.
