We invite you to explore the history of Ickworth’s Italianate Garden - the origins of extraordinary plants, the stories of the people who brought them to Suffolk, and the Italian inspired designs of Ickworth’s Rotunda and Gardens.

The basics

Suitability

Children welcome, please ensure they are under close supervision at all times.

Meeting point

The exhibition is located in the Italianate Garden which is open from 10am-4.30pm.

What to bring and wear

Sensible footwear as the ground underfoot can be uneven.

Accessibility

The exhibition is on a mixture of hard standing gravel and woodchip, which most mobility scooters will manage however manual wheelchairs may struggle over the loose gravel in parts.

Other

The Italianate garden is a dog free zone, except for assistance dogs.
