Guided Park Walk

Join a guided walk around the medieval parkland of Melford Hall where we will point out many points of historical interest.

Come and enjoy the beautiful views of Melford Hall park as part of a free guided walk. Hear about the history of the park, the ancient and modern archaeology on the site and see the very special 800-year-old oak trees. Do you know how the saying “By hook or by crook” came about? Want to know more? Well come along, learn, and join us for a short walk.

Please wear clothes suitable for the weather, to include stout footwear such as trainers or boots.

Accessibility

There will be walking on uneven terrain with poor access in places, which may not be suitable for wheelchair users. Powered mobility vehicles are available to book in advance.
