This is an overnight event. Arriving on Saturday and departing on Sunday.
Join Chris and Paul to learn about the two most common techniques to produce wide angle views of the night skies. • Shooting multiple (approx. 40-50) short exposures of around 20-30 seconds and stacking the resulting images in readily available software to produce the finished image • Using a star tracker and then blending the resulting foreground and sky images in Photoshop using luminosity Masks The event will involve a walk out to the shingle on Orford Ness at twilight returning to our accommodation in Basecamp between 2am and 3am.
Tuition and advise will be given throughout the evening on how best to capture the night sky.
