Beowulf Puppet Theatre with Rattlebox Theatre

Join Rattlebox Theatre for an engaging family-friendly puppet performance of the epic poem Beowulf.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Enjoy the epic poem Beowulf in this dramatic puppet performance by Rattlebox Theatre. This outdoor show employs engaging storytelling combined with clever puppetry; using many beautifully made puppets and props accompanied by magical sounds of live music performed on an array of medieval and traditional instruments.

The performance retains the spirit of the original story, whilst making it accessible to both adults and children alike. Due to the nature of the story there are a few scenes of graphic puppet violence and peril and is recommended for ages 7+.
