What better way to enjoy the warmer months than hiring out a row boat on our lake?
Our row boats are available to hire every weekend until Sunday 28 September, subject to volunteer harbourmaster availability. Please check the dates listed and homepage notices (yellow bar).
Maximum capacity weight limit applies.
No dogs, other than service dogs.
**UPDATE** Due to low water levels, our row boats can currently only be safely boarded by sitting on the jetty, and some of the lake is inaccessible. Visitors will need to be physically capable of lowering themselves to sit at ground level in order to safely access the boats.
£10 for 30 mins while the lake area is reduced due to low water levels (usually £12). Boats are available on a first-come, first-service basis and are subject to weather conditions and volunteer availability.

Call N/A Book on the day, at the Welcome Kiosk only. We cannot accept telephone or email bookings.

Please book and pay for your row boat session at the Welcome Kiosk. Five minutes before your start time, head to the Jetty, just beyond the kiosk.
- Accessibility
Please note that due to low water levels, our row boats can only be safely boarded by sitting on the jetty. Visitors need to be physically capable of lowering themselves to ground level to sit on the jetty in order to safely access the boats.

Our new rowing boats have a maximum weight limit of 225kg.
