Winkworth Arboretum

Winkworth really comes to life in spring, with the magnolia blooms joined by cherry blossom and drifts of bluebells. The azalea walk is a mass of colour at the end of April, lining the path to the boathouse which overlooks the lake.On the Bluebell Walk, the woodland floor comes alive in April and May with breathtaking fields of purple. These mostly native bulbs are one of Winkworth's most famous and beloved sights.
