Join Catherine McCusker, Visitor Operations and Experiences Manager for Leith Hill Place (LHP) to learn all about one of LHP’s most famous inhabitants, English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams (RVW.)
Catherine will focus her talk on the nature of RVW and particularly, in this year of remembrance, how his patriotism and egalitarian nature meant that he put aside his fame to help the war effort both locally and further afield and used his name to good effect in influencing rescues and treatment of prisoners of war.
