Silent Space
Every Monday afternoon, take a moment to switch off and take in the surroundings in our dedicated Silent Space at Polesden Lacey.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
We've reserved a space in the Upper Sunken Garden for silent visiting. Once inside the Silent Space, we stop talking, turn off our phones and cameras, and switch off from social media. A wildflower meadow in the spring and summer, the space is filled with wildflowers, butterflies, and bees. In the Autumn, it explodes into a firework of autumn colours, and in winter it turns into a frosty dream. Sit down on one of the benches tucked away in the shrubbery and enjoy a good book, or just take a moment to relax and enjoy nature. As little as five minutes will help us to enjoy the restorative benefits of being peaceful in a green place.
