Join us for an inspiring evening in the meadow as we explore the wonders of the night sky.
Led by the Guildford Astronomical Society, you’ll find out about the constellations and planets you can see in the sky that night. You will have the opportunity to use a variety of telescopes while members of the society pick out some of the most interesting celestial bodies for you to discover and leave you starry-eyed.

The basics

You will need to be able to go up and down a steep slope and stand for an hour to access this event.
- Meeting point
A team member will allow you through the main gate for exclusive after-hours access. Please park in the main car park and meet your guides outside the Visitor Centre.

Children over the aged of 10 are welcome
- What to bring and wear
Please bring layers and dress appropriately for the weather as you will be standing in the meadow. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a good torch.
