Bluebells in Bloom
Witness Winkworth's bluebells this spring
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
In April and May, Winkworth transforms as swathes of sweet-smelling bluebells come into bloom.*
With the arrival of warmer days, these fragile blooms awaken, drawing sustenance from the sun’s golden rays that grace the woodland floor. Catch them before the trees above cast their leafy shadows and they recede for another year.
Wander along Winkworth many winding pathways and you’ll find bluebells everywhere, but be sure not to miss their fine displays in bluebell wood.
*dates are subject to change depending on when the Bluebells bloom. Follow us on social media to see them at their best.
