Music in the Hall

English and Celtic Folk inspired music gently playing in the beautiful hall.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Marylin Thomas (Violin) and Nigel Horn (Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitar) play predominantly original instrumental material, taking much of its inspiration from older English and Celtic Folk Music. Their recent album is 'The Silver Thread', a 25 min. continuous instrumental piece about the Cuckmere River as it winds its way down to the coast from Alfriston, imagined over many Centuries in that timeless landscape. They will be playing a selection from this.
