Join our knowledgeable local guides for a walk taking you on a route climbing up to the top of the Downs stopping at Long Burgh Barrow - built in early neolithic times - before heading back down for a gentle stroll across the fields to the quaint hamlet of Alciston and onto to Berwick Church before heading back to Alfriston . (approx 5miles)

- What to bring and wear
Walking footwear is recommended as this walk is over rough ground.
- Accessibility
The walk has one reasonably long steady ascent and the descent is a little steep at times. The walk will be supported by two guides. There maybe livestock in some of the fields.
- Other
The duration of the walk is between 2 and a half hours to 3 hours. Ticket does no include entry to the house and gardens, if you would like to visit the property a private tour on the day can be arranged - normal admission applies.
