Join our knowledgeable local guides for a walk taking you on an enchanting route climbing up the valley to the top of the Downs. With a short sharp descent and ascent the walk heads back up to the top affording fantastic views before heading over to Berwick. Finishing with a gentle stroll across the fields back to Alfriston. (approx. 5 miles)

Walking footwear is recommended as this walk is over rough ground.

The walk has one reasonably long steady ascent. one short sharp ascent and two descents. The walk will be supported by two guides.

The duration of the walk is between 2 to 2 and a half hours. Ticket does no include entry to the house and gardens, if you would like to visit the property a private tour on the day can be arranged - normal admission applies.
