Guided Group Walk - The Dean and Winchester

From valleys to views an enchanting walk taking in some of the best views of the area.

Join our knowledgeable local guides for a walk taking you on an enchanting route climbing up to the top of the Downs affording far reaching views across the South Downs. The walk heads back down to the Cuckmere valley for a gentle stroll across the fields to the beautiful Lullington Church, before heading back to Alfriston. (approx 4.5 miles)

The walk has one reasonably long steady ascent and descent. The walk will be supported by two guides.

Meet by Main Gate at 10am.

What to bring and wear

Walking footwear is recommended as this walk is over rough ground.

Other

The duration of the walk is between 2 and a half hours to 3 hours. The house and gardens are closed but if you wish to visit please inform one of the guides. Normal admission applies.
