Oenone Thomas is a poet, psychotherapist, and chocolatemaker, brought up in South Wales and southern Spain, and now at home in the south east of England.
She is the Poet in Residence for the Cuckmere Pilgrim Path 2024/25.
Oenone is a graduate of Poetry School London’s Writing Poetry MA. Her poems are widely published in UK poetry magazines and anthologies, and she has been shortlisted for the Live Canon International Poetry Prize and longlisted in the National Poetry Competition. Her first poetry pamphlet will be published this summer.
Oenone is experienced at facilitating poetry writing groups for people with all levels of poetry-writing experience and none. She enjoys creating a relaxed writing environment with no pressure to share work in progress.
