Chat with the Bateman’s collections and house team and watch as they clean and maintain items from the collection, from tapestries to Rudyard Kipling’s beloved blue Rolls-Royce.
The team will be looking after the following items:
Embroidered textiles in the Kipling Bedroom - 14 May
Clock conservation in the Entrance Hall - 11 June
Curiosity cabinets in the Parlour - 9 July
Curiosity cabinet in Kipling’s Study - 10 September
Model ships in Kipling’s Study - 8 October

The Parlour and Elsie’s Sitting Room are wheelchair accessible via the front entrance of the house. The Rolls Royce garage has a step up into the building and isn’t wheelchair accessible, but it still viewable from the path.
