Starting from Birling Gap we will walk to Shooters Bottom, going through the Meadow and Horseshoe Plantation on the way. Celebrating the start of Spring we will be looking at the fauna and flora. We then head up to Belle Tout lighthouse, over to Lookout Hill before heading back to Birling Gap. For those that prefer a gentler walk there is a turnaround point at Shooters Bottom.

- What to bring and wear
The weather can be extreme on Belle Tout so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Ensure you bring water and sunscreen. Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead.
There is uneven and hilly terrain throughout the walk. A gentler walk is an option from Birling Gap to Shooters Bottom through the meadow and back for those who prefer flat levels
The walk starts at Birling Gap car park and is a circular route. Suitable for the moderately fit. There are grazing animals along the walk.
