Children's summer crafts
Get creative and design your own shield or craft a pot or tile, inspired by the magnificent castle setting.

In this craft activity for families, children are encouraged to imagine themselves as a knight, a Lord or Lady and decorate their own shield, pot, tile or ceramic dragon decoration. Drop-in first-come-first-served entry throughout the session.
£2/£3 per item, cash payment advised.

The basics

Suitable for children aged 4–8
- Meeting point
Meet by the museum room opposite the castle. The workshop will take place in the education room.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

There is a ramp and one step to access the education room.

All children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
