Discover Chalk Grassland Walk

Join our Rangers for a guided walk around Devil’s Dyke and uncover the secrets of its stunning chalk grassland, one of our more biodiverse habitats, known as the UKs miniature rainforest.

Learn about the rare wildflower and insects this habitat supports whilst enjoying sweeping views across the South Downs. Perfect for nature lovers and curious minds alike!

The walk will be around 1hr 30mins.

This event is being held as part of Devil’s Dyke Discovery Week Tuesday 26th – Saturday 30th August. Celebrating 30 years of the National Trust at Devil’s Dyke and Saddlescombe Farm.

Devil’s Dyke Discovery week is part of Changing Chalk delivered with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
