Wellbeing Walk
Join us for one of our wellbeing walks as we take some time to walk in nature away from the busyness of everyday life. We will walk a circular route through pretty villages and farmland and back along the river.
- Booking essential
Starting at Southease station we'll walk along the track and over the bridge at Southease, through picturesque Southease village. Continuing along the public footpath towards Rodmell there are elevation changes that create lovely views across the landscape. We will then walk by Rodmell village and past Monk's House to head down the farm track and alongside the brooks. This part of the landscape is home to egrets, herons, owls, and red kite, with redwing and fieldfare in the colder months. Taking in the last of the Autumn colour as the leaves change and drop, points of seasonal interest will be conkers and yew tree berries and old mans beard / travellers joy! Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
