The Petworth Proms
Four varied mini-concerts in one evening, set in the stunning state rooms of Petworth House
- Booking essential
The National Trust in partnership with Petworth Festival presents three magical musical evenings in the historic grandeur of Petworth House. Join us to hear a sequence of mini-concerts by talented young musicians – all final year students of the Royal Academy of Music – in four of the magnificent state rooms of the 17th century mansion.
The performers for the third edition of the Petworth Proms are:
Dominika Mak (piano) in the North Gallery. The Juno Duo (voice/violin and guitar) in the Grand Staircase and Beauty Room. The Scintilla Quartet (string quartet) in the Carved Room. Duo Tanwen (flute and harp) in the Square Dining Room.
On arrival, drinks will be available from 6.30pm before audiences will be invited to join one of four groups which will proceed at 7.20pm to the first in a series of simultaneous concerts, each of which lasts 20 minutes. Following the first concert, you will be guided to the second room for the next performance. There will be a short interval where drinks will be served, before the third and fourth performances resume. The event will finish at approximately 9.45pm.
Please note arrival is via the Church Lodge entrance in Petworth town only for this event.
