Mother's Day Woodcut Printmaking Workshop with Helen Brown

Discover the ancient art of woodblock printing this Mother's Day.

  • Booking essential

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to carve and print from a wooden block, both by hand and using a press. Learn Chine Collé, a traditional paper overlay technique, to add colour to your prints.

You will leave with a selection of colourful prints and the knowledge and confidence to carve and print your own woodblocks.

This is the perfect activity to try something new and celebrate your mother in our cosy event space.

Places are limited, so be sure to book in advance. Your ticket includes entry in to the Garden.
