Join local author Louise Shaw for storytime in the bell tent next to adventure corner. Louise will read from her Tawny Owl Wood book range. Tawny Owl Wood reminds children that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life and encourages them to be compassionate and inclusive towards others. Louise Shaw also brings her love of nature into the stories to encourage families to help protect it for the future. Collect your activity book to take home afterwards.

1st Fri of the month from Mar - Oct: 11am - 4pm. See the East Grinstead Spinners at Standen on the first Friday of every month. Watch as they spin, weave and find out about the wool dyeing process.
The Makers Fair at Standen
Fri 16 May - Sun 18 May: 10am - 4pm. Meet over 50 makers at Standen, showcasing their heritage craft and contemporary design skills. Demonstrations throughout the day in a marquee on the Croquet Lawn.
Ruby Plants a Radish garden trail
Sat 24 May - Sun 22 Jun: 10am - 4.30pm. Join Ruby the Rabbit for a garden adventure inspired by the book of the same name. This family trail is free to enjoy and no booking is needed.
