Christmas trees and decorations fill the house and ‘The Jolly Holly Christmas Trail’, a trail for families, can be enjoyed by all. For an atmospheric experience visit us for one of our evening openings with carols around the Christmas tree, which has been decorated by local schools and Standen’s volunteers and staff. The Sussex Guild join us too with a selection of artisan products, perfect for that elusive Christmas present. Sip a warming drink in the historic Barn Café, try one of our festive bakes or treats then round off your visit with a trip to the shop which offers a range of William Morris inspired gifts, or pop into the second-hand bookshop to find your next fireside read. (£4.75 for family trail with gift).
