Escape to the Country

Try your hand at mini golf & croquet, race to build a train set, play games on the lawn & dress up in the woodland den. A trail around the garden which imagines the Edwardian Beale family travelling to Standen for a summer day out in the country.

Follow the trail around the garden and enjoy some traditional family fun activities. Potter with trains, play short croquet or try a spot of golf. Finish off with dressing up for an imaginary afternoon tea in the Woodland Den. £3 per trail, includes a gift.

Heritage Open Days at Standen 

Visit for free and see The Pump House on a guided tour of the woodland with our Ranger. This is a unique opportunity to see a part of Standen which isn't normally open to visitors. Tours at 10.30am - 12pm & 2pm - 3.30pm.
