The East Grinstead Spinners are a small group of enthusiasts who enjoy sharing ideas, learning new skills, spinning, weaving and dyeing. They'll be joining us at Standen the first Friday of every month from March until October. 11am - 4pm.

Nature Explorers
Become a nature explorer at Standen. Create a nature journal of your own with inspiration from the garden and woodlands that surround Standen. Fri 1 May - Sun 28th Jun: 10am - 4.30pm.
A Dangerous Novelty? The Age of Electricity
This new exhibition tells the story of Standen as one of the first country houses to be designed with electricity. See the exhibition in the Servants Hall between Weds 14 Jan & Sun 21 Jun. 11am – 3pm. (4pm in summer).
CraftFest with Sussex Contemporary
POSTPONED DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. Showcasing the core crafts of the Arts and Crafts movement, Sussex Contemporary join us with demonstrations on Goose Green and a crafts marquee on the croquet lawn. Thurs 2 Jul - Sun 5 Jul: 10am - 4pm.

A vibrant new exhibition for the summer by some of the UK's most exciting makers, bringing contemporary creativity into the heart of the Arts & Crafts house at Standen. 'Inspired by Standen' is presented in partnership with Sussex Contemporary.
