In the heart of Conwy lies Aberconwy House, a 14th century merchants house and one of the oldest houses in Wales. Inside you’ll find a bustling second-hand bookshop with plenty of books to choose from.

Second-Hand Bookshop

This year marks a new chapter for Aberconwy House as we re-open the ground floor as a second-hand bookshop.

The building has had many uses over the years including being a hotel, museum and antique shop. We look forward to this new chapter and to welcome people back to this historical building in the heart of Conwy once more.

We have a range of books that will appeal to everyone, so stop by if you’re looking for your next read.

Opening Times

The second-hand bookshop will be open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

Books to Donate?

If you have good quality books to donate, you are more than welcome to drop them off at Aberconwy House during opening hours. We are grateful for all donations.

By supporting the bookshop, not only are you giving a second life to these books, but you also support the work that is done to look after special places like Aberconwy House for everyone, forever.
