Half term Calan Gaeaf : Stories and Flames
This October half term, uncover Welsh folklore in our bilingual storytelling sessions.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Come and discover the magic and mystery of Calan Gaeaf, the Welsh celebration that marks the turning of the seasons, when nights grow longer and the veil between worlds begins to thin.
Join us for bilingual seasonal storytelling: Calan Gaeaf tales that might give you a chill. There will also be an opportunity to add your stories, thoughts, or dreams to the flames of the Colby Coelcerth (bonfire) - a crafty twist on the traditional coelcerth flames. You might like to take a walk around the woodland garden after the storytelling session...or not...who knows what might you find.
There are specific times for these storytelling sessions, but no need to book. Please note, two sessions will be in English (11am and 2pm) and two sessions will be in Welsh (12pm and 3pm). This activity is free for everyone to enjoy (normal car parking charges apply).
