Create characters, a plot, make some friends and act it all out. Through a dynamic and creative workshop with our Play Officer, you'll explore aspects of performing such as devising and directing as well as acting, and have a brilliant time.

Celebrating the spirit of the sixties alongside our exhibition in Newton House we will make a play in the Oak Yard which was once the site of an imagined theatre! The workshop will end with a unique performance to friends and family on our Oak Yard stage! We'll bring props and costumes; you bring your creativity ready to make some beautiful stories. Make a Play in a Day but keep your memories forever.
No previous experience required.

Head to the Oak Yard, and if you're not sure where that is - follow the pink arrows or ask one of our friendly team. We will aim to start promptly at 11am.

We'll provide the props, make sure you're comfy.

The stage is accessible via a short ramp, and all areas within the Oak Yard are on level ground.
