As part of our big bird spotting year, 'Birding with Branwen', we invite the birds of Dinefwr to take centre stage this half term. Join us for a week full of fun, activities, and feathered friends.

Explore this half term at Dinefwr. Step inside Newton House and discover a range of fun family-friendly activities. From imaginative play and craft sessions to an opportunity for collaborative creativity, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Climb and clamber in the Old Laundry room which opens on Saturday 23 May with brand new ‘Tyre Tricks’. This reimagined space, filled with tyres saved from landfill, offers the perfect place to play, build and let imaginations run wild.
Inside the house, each room will be packed full of fun and games for all the family. Make your mark on our collaborative drawing table in the dining room, create your own puppet in the pantry and enjoy a family board game in the drawing room. There plenty more to explore…

Level terrain to the ground floor of the house and cafe, there are stairs to the basement. We anticipate that the new lift will be in service for May half - term.

John Abell returns to Dinefwr for his exhibition ‘Dod yn ol at fy Nghoed’. The Welsh proverb "Dod yn ôl at fy nghoed" translates to "to return to my trees" and signifies a return to a balanced state of mind.

Join us for a relaxed birdwatching session and observe nature from the comfort of one of the bird hides at Dinefwr. One of our Volunteers will introduce you to some of the birds that call Dinefwr home.
