With the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness upon us, and the trees just beginning to turn, now’s the time to enjoy an Autumn break at Dolaucothi.

Dolaucothi Caravan and Motorhome Park is currently closed for bookings whilst we make changes to the operational running of the site. This is following a recent review of the National Trust’s holidays portfolio, the income they generate and how they contribute to our vital conservation work, to ensure a sustainable future for the charity. We will share an update on when the site will reopen for bookings as soon as possible.
Just a short stroll from the Goldmines, and easily accessible from the A482, this secluded, tranquil site is rich in nature and wildlife. It’s also an ideal base from which to explore the underground workings and unique Roman archaeology of Dolaucothi (please be sure to book all Underground Tours in advance, via this web site).
The surrounding two and a half thousand acre Dolaucothi Estate offers 25 KM of waymarked trails, from a riverside stroll to an upland hike.

Facilities:
Please note, there are no toilets or showers at this site. You must be self-sufficient. We do have chemical and grey water disposal points.
Arriving:
This Caravan is only manned on Mondays and Fridays from 10am until 4pm. Our on-site staff can help you choose a pitch.
If you are arriving outside of the above times, you are free to choose your own pitch according to whether you booked a hardstanding pitch or a grass pitch.
Dogs:
Dolaucothi is a dog-friendly site and all well-behaved dogs are welcome at no additional charge. They must be kept on a lead at all times and exercised away from other campers. Please pick up after your dogs right away. There are many dog walking routes to choose from both on site and locally.
