Two thousand years after the departure of the Romans from Dolaucothi, NT Dolaucothi and Legio VIII Augusta MGV Roman Living History Society bring the past to boisterous life with this fascinating insight into Roman lives and times.
Important note: Dolaucothi Gold Mine will be closed during this weekend, with all activities being centred on the community field at Pumsaint.

The basics

Community Field in Pumsaint village, opposite the Dolaucothi Arms pub.
- What to bring and wear
Sensible footwear is recommended, particularly if the field might be wet. Please dress appropriately for the weather, rain or shine.
- Accessibility
The car park has easy access to the field. Some level walking is involved to reach the Roman encampment. Generally suitable for wheelchairs / buggies.
