A day to explore the plants of Lochtyn from sea to cliff. A guided botany walk will explore this coastal environment and the plants that thrive here.
Did you know that Lochtyn is a SSSI? A Site of Special Scientific Interest, its maritime grassland and heathland are what makes this site special.
Artist Lily Tiger will join in to run a drop-in session, drawing and badge making exploring the Welsh meaning behind the names of plants and the local area.
Drop in art session from 10am - 4pm.
Guided botany walk at 11am and 2pm with Laura Moss from WWBIC.
Meet on the beach at Llangrannog. The walk will take you to the headland via the Coastal Path.
This event is part of the Butterflies and Bellflowers project. The project is funded by the Nature Networks Programme. It is being delivered by the Heritage Fund on behalf of the Welsh Government.

Meet on Llangrannog beach for the walks at 11am and 2pm. Art session takes place on the headland overlooking Lochtyn. From Llangrannog Beach its a 15 minute walk along the Coastal Path heading North

Footwear suitable for walking the coastal path, steep sections and uneven ground.
