Community Ragwort pulling Days
Do you care about local livestock? Would you like to make locally grown hay safe for animals to eat in the winter? Then join us to remove the ragwort around Rhosili and Pennard this summer!
- Booking advisable
Ragwort is a great plant for pollinators - but needs to be controlled when growing around grazing animals and hay meadows. If eaten over several years, the pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs) can build up and cause liver damage. Help us keep our sites safe! And enjoy working with a team from our local community!
