Bryony will take you on a journey of relaxation, through a variety of sounds and instruments which will complement this breathtaking sculpture of the Sun. Whether you’re new to sound baths or returning to a familiar practice, this is a unique chance to relax in the peaceful walled garden at Charterhouse.
Instruments may include gongs, crystal bowls, drums and chimes.

Start your visit at Visitor Reception, who will point you in the direction.

Bring cushions and blankets and wear your cosiest cloths for ultimate comfort.

Charterhouse has accessible footpaths to the Visitor Reception and into the garden.

Not suitable for those in their first 12 weeks of pregnancy, those with sound induced epilepsy, have a pacemaker fitted, or a severe heart condition. If you are unsure if this session is suitable for you, please consult your GP for advice before booking. Helios will be temporarily paused if the wind picks up, to ensure the safety of the artwork and visitors. The artwork is made from a delicate material and even mild wind speeds might mean that we have to take it down. We won't take the decision lightly as we hate to disappoint our visitors but if we do, we'll try and give as much notice as we're able to. If we do cancel and you've booked a ticket to one of our evening events you'll be notified via email from our events team.
