Starling puppet parade at Charterhouse

Join us for a spectacular puppet parade inspired by the swooping movement of starlings.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Take part in a joyful, one-off community event as we recreate the breath-taking movement of a starling murmuration through puppetry and music.

Visitors are invited to join a large parade around the grounds of the Charterhouse, puppeteering starling creations in a shared exploration of movement and space. Accompanied by musicians, the parade will transform the site into a swooping and soaring spectacle inspired by the natural world.

You can bring along a starling puppet made during our shadow puppet workshops, or simply come along to enjoy the parade as a spectator. Everyone is welcome to take part.
