Join Bryony for a unique morning yoga session at Charterhouse this summer, set under Helios, Luke Jerram's stunning illuminated sun.
In this session we will celebrate the sun's power, moving through a flowing practice to gently warm and stretch the entire body followed by mindful breathing techniques to help quiet and relax the mind. This session is suitable adults who are complete beginners, and those with more experience.
Mats and props are provided.

Start your visit at Visitor Reception, who will point you in the direction.

Charterhouse has accessible footpaths to the Visitor Reception and into the garden.

Not suitable for those in their first 12 weeks of pregnancy, those with sound induced epilepsy, have a pacemaker fitted, or a severe heart condition. If you are unsure if this session is suitable for you, please consult your GP for advice before booking. Helios will be temporarily paused if the wind picks up, to ensure the safety of the artwork and visitors. The artwork is made from a delicate material and even mild wind speeds might mean that we have to take it down. We won't take the decision lightly as we hate to disappoint our visitors but if we do, we'll try and give as much notice as we're able to. If we do cancel and you've booked a ticket to one of our evening events you'll be notified via email from our events team.
