Spring Maypole Dancing at Coventry Charterhouse
Celebrate spring with music, movement and traditional maypole dancing in the walled garden.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Join us in the walled garden at Coventry Charterhouse for a lively, family-friendly celebration of spring with traditional maypole dancing.
Inspired by a long-standing seasonal tradition, where communities gathered to dance around a ribboned pole to music, this joyful activity invites visitors to take part in creating their own colourful display.
With music playing throughout the day, you can drop in to join a maypole dance session, learn the steps and help plait the ribbons to form beautiful patterns around the pole. This relaxed outdoor activity is all about movement, music and coming together to celebrate the season.
