Shadow Puppet Creatures - family friendly workshop
Drop in this October and get creative making shadow puppets. Free event.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
The nights are drawing in, and something is stirring in the shadows...
But don't worry, there's nothing to fear here! Join Flawed Mandrake Theatre for a workshop that celebrates the dark rather than dreading it. We'll be making our own crepuscular shadow puppet creatures; strange and wonderful beasts that come alive at dusk. Once they're made, we'll bring them to life behind the screen and add a little mystery to the darkening nights. If you'd rather meet a friendly moth than a ghoul this autumn, this is the workshop for you.
All materials are provided. Children will need support from their grown-up, so come ready to create together.
These sessions are drop-in, no booking required.
Your puppet can be used in our Puppet Parade on 28 October at 2.30pm, or you can simply enjoy the workshops on their own.
