Group and school visits

Coventry Charterhouse is a unique place for group and school visits. Explore the medieval house and discover some of the finest examples of medieval and renaissance art in England. Then spend time in the peaceful walled garden and surrounding grounds. Whether you’re planning an educational visit or a group day out, The Charterhouse offers an engaging and memorable experience for all ages.
Group visits
The Charterhouse welcomes group visits throughout the year, Wednesday to Sunday. Discounted rates are available for any non-members in pre-booked groups of more than 15 people.
Please note, pre-booking is essential for all group visits.
House entry
The Charterhouse operates on a timed ticket system throughout the year. Your group will be allocated house tickets on arrival to suit the timescale of your visit. Groups above 15 will have staggered entry across two or more timed slots.
Catering for your group
The Farmers Fayre Café at The Charterhouse provides a range of seasonal hot and cold light refreshments and treats. You may pre-book your menu choices if you wish to eat as a group and tables may be able to be reserved.
Education group visits
The Charterhouse is the perfect place for a self-led educational visit. If you would like to plan your visit, please contact us. Please note that all group visits must be pre-booked. Schools can benefit from an National Trust Educational Group Access Pass, which is an annual membership giving free access to the whole school group at National Trust properties.
