Magic meets history this Christmas at Mompesson House. Walk through the story of "A Christmas Carol" and discover how Scrooge learnt the error of his ways . Sit at the Cratchits' table for a Christmas feast, try on a bonnet in Charles Dickens' study and look out for the Ghost of Christmas Present on a throne of food! This is a sensory experience with opportunities to see, smell and hear Christmas. A free spotter trail is available for children (and grown ups!).

Accessibility

Two upstairs rooms and the landing and stairway will be decorated for Christmas. The Library is not accessible for motorised wheelchairs. Printed guides and a video walkthrough for rooms accessed via stairs will be provided. Children's ear defenders are available to borrow.

Buggies can be stored under cover outside.
