Sketching workshop

Be inspired by Stourhead in this introductory sketching workshop.

  • Booking essential

Take inspiration from nature, including autumnal flowers and vegetables, in this introductory sketching workshop. You will explore working with different materials to develop your sketching skills and discover freedom with mark making in this step by step workshop which is perfect for beginners. All drawing materials are included and you'll go home with a collection of sketches from the session.

Please bring your own sketchbook and wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit mucky.

The workshop takes place at the Discovery Centre in the Stableyard. Gemma may lead you through the garden as part of the workshop to gather inspiration.

Please note, normal admission applies to visit the house and garden outside of workshop hours, with free entry for National Trust members.
