Guided Walk - Family Activity Walk

Keeps the kids entertained for a morning over the summer holidays on a volunteer led Family Activity Walk.

Are you looking for a summer holiday activity for the kids? Join the National Trust for a 3 mile adventure through the beautiful Clent Hills countryside on a Family Activity Walk.

Take part in a scavenger hunt, find creepy crawlies using magnifying containers and learn a little more about hills, things that grow here and the creatures that call it home.

You’ll even get the chance to help light a fire and toast a marshmallow or two at our bushcraft site.

This event is designed for any size of family, providing a perfect blend of nature exploration and exciting activities. Some activities are weather dependant.

Suitability

Not suitable for very young children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meeting point

Please meet at the Nimmings Road car park for a 10am start. Usual parking charges apply (free for NT members).

What to bring and wear

Please dress for the weather and bring a drink with you. Sensible footwear such as walking boots should be worn.

Accessibility

Please note that the route does include walking up steep sections of hill and climbing over fences and stiles. The walk is approximately 3 miles and takes around 3 hours.

Other

The walks start and finish at the National Trust car park at Nimmings Wood. There are toilet facilities and a cafe here where you can buy refreshments. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time.
