Join Amerton studios for this very special two-day wood carving workshop.

On this practical 2 day hands on course, you will use traditional wood carving techniques to carve a design in lime wood.
No previous experience is required; you will be able to work at your own pace on a range of potential projects suitable for different experience levels.
Stage by stage instructions and demonstrations will guide you through every element of the process towards a high-quality finished carving.
All tools, materials and equipment are provided.
The course runs over two consecutive days from 10am until 4pm including tea breaks, light refreshments are available throughout the day. Lunch break is about 1pm, there is a cafe on site or you may bring your own lunch. Geraint Lloyd the tutor has 25 years’ experience working in a commercial setting, carving architectural and sculptural pieces together with teaching at events, and shows each year. Geraint is a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE.
