By Charlotte Brontë, adapted by Laura Turner. Young governess Jane Eyre arrives at the mysterious Thornfield Hall deep in the Yorkshire Moors and meets her enigmatic new employer Mr Rochester. Sparks fly between the pair, but when a terrifying secret from the past returns to haunt them, can Jane and Rochester’s passion survive the forces that might tear them apart forever? Join Chapterhouse Theatre Company as we bring the windswept moorland of Brontë’s masterpiece to life in stunning open-air surroundings.
Gates open at 6pm and performances start at 7pm.
Please bring your own rugs or low backed seating. Outdoor performances will continue in all but the worst of weather, be sure to dress accordingly. All tickets are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation due to exceptionally bad weather or other extenuating circumstances, alternative arrangements shall be made. Children under 5 go free.
