On Saturday 12 September, from 11am to 3pm (last entry at 2.30 pm) , enjoy free entry to Greyfriars and discover one of Worcester's most remarkable historic buildings.
Tucked away on Friar Street in the heart of the city, Greyfriars is a late medieval merchant's house bursting with stories, characters and centuries of history. Saved from demolition and restored by siblings Elsie and Matley Moore, the house offers a fascinating glimpse into Worcester's past.
Access though an archway, over a cobbled pathway and step inside to explore its timber-framed rooms, uncover the lives of those who called it home, and discover how this treasured building was brought back to life for future generations to enjoy.
While you're here, take time to relax in the Old Oak Café, where you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, light lunches and snacks or browse the shelves of No.14 Bookshop, a much-loved second-hand bookshop.
