M.R James' A Warning to the Curious
The chilling M.R. James classic will be brought to life this Christmas...
- Booking essential
'Yet, in all this quiet, there was an acute, an acrid consciousness of a restrained hostility, very near to us'.
'A Warning to the Curious' follows the story of Paxton, a young archaeologist who inadvertently comes upon one of the three holy crowns of East Anglia. What he uncovers leads to something far more sinister...
This year, Toby Burchell takes us through a chilling tale from the finest writer of the ghost story genre, M.R. James. Burchell's one man performance was a sell out success in 2023 at Malvern Theatres and is now going on tour.
Originally narrated by James himself as an entertainment for friends, this is the perfect traditional ghost story.
The performance will last 1 hour, with no interval.
Unfortunately the café will be closed due to rescheduling, but you are welcome to bring refreshments from elsewhere.
