Archaeology at Greyfriars
National Trust archaeologists will be visiting Greyfriars and investigating if any hidden features may still lie beneath the ground on the site of George's Yard.

Archaeologists from the National Trust will be at Greyfriars this Saturday morning from 10am, carrying out a special geophysical survey. They will be undertaking a GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) survey and a resistivity survey to check for any below ground features. The team will also be checking how tree roots are affecting the area to help guide future care of the garden.
