Guided walk: Heritage Trail North

Explore the stunning landscape of the moorland with a historical eye

See some of the historical highlights of the area: Eastergate packhorse bridge; Standedge Tunnel End; and March Haigh reservoir.

This walk is approx 8.5 miles and will take around 5.5 hours.

What to bring and wear

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for changeable weather and challenging terrain. Bring water, lunch and enough snacks for five hours.
